Leaders in health must collectively come together because that\u2019s the only way that we\u2019ll change this health care paradigm from one focused on reactive care to one focused on preventive care. Nobody knows that as well as the Vice President, who has spent his entire career taking bold action to improve people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>During the meeting, Biden spoke glowingly of Theranos and Holmes. Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/02\/theranos-joe-biden-17786578\/\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis is the laboratory of the future,\u201d Biden said, after&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mddionline.com\/theranos-gets-vice-president-bidens-support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">touring<\/a>&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com\/2015\/07\/23\/vice-president-joe-biden-theranos-elizabeth-holmes-newark-lab-test\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">facility<\/a>&nbsp;with Holmes, and added, \u201cyou can see what innovation is all about just walking through this facility.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fact that you\u2019re voluntarily submitting all of your tests to the FDA demonstrates your confidence in what you\u2019re doing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTalk about being inspired. This is inspiration.
