It appears that Prince Andrew will be relying on being included in the vague category defined by \u201cother potential defendants.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to that agreement: \u2018Hereby release, acquit, satisfy, and forever discharge the said Second Parties and any other person or entity who could have been included as a potential defendant (\u2018Other Potential Defendants\u2019) from all, and all manner of, action and actions of Virginia Roberts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Brettler, who represents Prince Andrew, previously told a New York hearing the agreement \u201creleases Prince Andrew and others from any purported liability arising from the claims Ms Giuffre asserted against Prince Andrew here,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-59857168\">BBC<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUS District Judge Lewis A Kaplan, who is presiding over the civil case, is due to hold a video teleconference on Tuesday when a request by the duke\u2019s legal team to dismiss the case will be heard,\u201d the BBC added.<\/p>\n<p>This week, it was also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/virginia-giuffres-lawyers-demand-proof-prince-andrew-couldnt-sweat\">reported<\/a> that lawyers for Giuffre are demanding that Prince Andrew hand over documentation that proves his inability to sweat \u2014 a bizarre excuse he presented as proof that he had never met Giuffre.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, Giuffre\u2019s attorneys have requested information about Andrew\u2019s \u201calleged medical condition of anhidrosis, hyperhidrosis\u201d as part of an ongoing civil case against the prince in a New York court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMs Giuffre, 38, alleges that Prince Andrew sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager at the homes of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-us-canada-59839351\">BBC<\/a> reported. \u201cPrince Andrew has consistently denied the allegations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During a controversial interview with the BBC in 2019, Andrew claimed that he never got sweaty in a club with Giuffre in 2001 \u2014 prior to the pair allegedly having sex \u2014 citing a medical condition that would make such perspiration impossible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was very specific about that night, she described dancing with you,\u201d Emily Maitlis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-50449339\">asked<\/a> Prince Andrew in 2019. \u201cNo,\u201d Prince Andrew responded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd you profusely sweating and that she went on to have bath possibly,\u201d Maitlis continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a slight problem with the sweating because I have a peculiar medical condition which is that I don\u2019t sweat or I didn\u2019t sweat at the time and that was\u2026 was it\u2026 yes, I didn\u2019t sweat at the time because I had suffered what I would describe as an overdose of adrenaline in the Falklands War when I was shot at and I simply\u2026 it was almost impossible for me to sweat,\u201d Prince Andrew claimed. \u201cAnd it\u2019s only because I have done a number of things in the recent past that I am starting to be able to do that again.
