In the last full decade, 2010-2019, the average was 18,362 dead per year, or 96.2% lower.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is why climate alarmists are reluctant to report on weather-related deaths, Lomborg suggests.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Declining climate deaths \u201cis clearly the opposite of what you hear, but that is because we\u2019re often just being told of one disaster after another \u2013 telling us how *many* events are happening,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we look at the absolute number of people dying from climate-related disasters, it is simply incontrovertible that these have declined dramatically,\u201d he declared, adding that richer and more resilient societies \u201care much better able to protect their citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_15694682\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/San-Antonio-Winter-Storm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15694682\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/San-Antonio-Winter-Storm.jpg\" alt=\"Road sign warns of icing conditions in San Antonio, Texas.
