We believe strongly that the further spread of such weapons must be prevented.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement comes in the middle of increased tension between Russia and Ukraine, as well as ongoing tensions between China and the U.S.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, President Joe Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/united-states-and-allies-will-respond-decisively-if-russia-further-invades-ukraine-biden-white-house-says\">promised<\/a> Ukraine\u2019s President Volodymyr Zelensky that the U.S. \u201cwill respond decisively if Russia further invades Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe leaders expressed support for diplomatic efforts, starting next week with the bilateral Strategic Stability Dialogue, at NATO through the NATO-Russia Council, and at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe,\u201d White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2022\/01\/02\/statement-by-press-secretary-jen-psaki-on-president-bidens-call-with-president-volodymyr-zelenskyy-of-ukraine\/\">statement<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, The Daily Wire also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/china-harvesting-social-media-data-on-western-targets-to-equip-government-agencies-military-and-police-report\">reported<\/a> on China\u2019s increasing targeting of the West: \u201cThe Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is mining Western social media \u2014 such as Facebook and Twitter \u2014 to \u2018equip its government agencies, military and police with information on foreign targets.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>China targets foreign journalists and academics\u2019 social media and \u201canalyzes Western chatter on Hong Kong and Taiwan; and a cybercenter in Xinjiang, home to most of China\u2019s Uyghur population, that catalogues the mainly Muslim minority group\u2019s language content abroad,\u201d according to The Washington Post.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>China has also reportedly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/china-builds-satellite-that-can-take-high-quality-photos-of-american-cities\">built a satellite<\/a> that can capture high-quality images of American cities. According to Business Insider:<\/p>\n<p>The commercial Beijing-3 satellite, launched by China in June, conducted an in-depth scan of a 1,470 square-mile area in the San Francisco Bay. The satellite captured the area within 42 seconds, The South China Morning Post first reported, citing results published this month in the Chinese peer-reviewed journal Spacecraft Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Beijing-3 has a unique advantage up its sleeve: It can pitch and yaw at up to 10 degrees per second while not compromising image quality as it orbits the Earth, said lead scientist Yang Fang, who headed the project run by DFH Satellite Company under the Chinese Academy of Space and Technology.<\/p>\n<p>Normally, satellite cameras have to be kept still when they take high-definition images, and thus can only observe straight strips of land as they orbit above the area.
