Version: 4.0.47--><p>The agreement between Prince Andrew\u2019s accuser, Virginia Giuffre, and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein will be made public for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>The unveiling of the 2009 settlement between Epstein and Giuffre, which will be released on Monday, could be hugely impactful when it comes to the ongoing civil case against the Duke of York.<\/p>\n<p>Prince Andrew\u2019s lawyers will be looking to leverage the settlement to release him from liability in the case brought by Giuffre, who has accused the member of the British Royal Family of sexual assault when she was 17 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Brettler, who represents Prince Andrew, previously told a New York hearing the agreement \u201creleases Prince Andrew and others from any purported liability arising from the claims Ms Giuffre asserted against Prince Andrew here,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-59857168\">BBC<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUS District Judge Lewis A Kaplan, who is presiding over the civil case, is due to hold a video teleconference on Tuesday when a request by the duke\u2019s legal team to dismiss the case will be heard,\u201d the BBC added.<\/p>\n<p>This week, it was also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/virginia-giuffres-lawyers-demand-proof-prince-andrew-couldnt-sweat\">reported<\/a> that lawyers for Giuffre are demanding that Prince Andrew hand over documentation that proves his inability to sweat \u2014 a bizarre excuse he presented as proof that he had never met Giuffre.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, Giuffre\u2019s attorneys have requested information about Andrew\u2019s \u201calleged medical condition of anhidrosis, hyperhidrosis\u201d as part of an ongoing civil case against the prince in a New York court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMs Giuffre, 38, alleges that Prince Andrew sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager at the homes of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-us-canada-59839351\">BBC<\/a> reported. \u201cPrince Andrew has consistently denied the allegations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During a controversial interview with the BBC in 2019, Andrew claimed that he never got sweaty in a club with Giuffre in 2001 \u2014 prior to the pair allegedly having sex \u2014 citing a medical condition which would make such perspiration impossible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was very specific about that night, she described dancing with you,\u201d Emily Maitlis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-50449339\">asked<\/a> Prince Andrew in 2019. \u201cNo,\u201d Prince Andrew responded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd you profusely sweating and that she went on to have bath possibly,\u201d Maitlis continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a slight problem with the sweating because I have a peculiar medical condition which is that I don\u2019t sweat or I didn\u2019t sweat at the time and that was\u2026 was it\u2026 yes, I didn\u2019t sweat at the time because I had suffered what I would describe as an overdose of adrenaline in the Falklands War when I was shot at and I simply\u2026 it was almost impossible for me to sweat,\u201d Prince Andrew claimed. \u201cAnd it\u2019s only because I have done a number of things in the recent past that I am starting to be able to do that again.
