Economists, particularly of the leftist persuasion, have routinely defended the policies of the Biden administration, despite today\u2019s rampant inflation. These distinguished individuals try to dress up the Democrats\u2019 abysmal efforts and call it manna, while sacrificing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.libertynation.com\/economic-affairs-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">economics<\/a> profession and its legitimacy.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Krugman Rejects Inflation Reality<\/p>\n<p>U.S. annual <a href=\"https:\/\/lngenz.com\/inflation-what-is-it-and-how-bad-is-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">inflation<\/a> is the highest in nearly 40 years, flirting with the 7% mark. The Federal Reserve\u2019s favorite inflation measurement, the personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index, is also at a multi-decade high. Suffice it to say, this inflationary environment is threatening both the post-pandemic economic recovery and the personal finances of millions of poor and middle-class households. But one economist will not weep for those impacted by inflation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.libertynation.com\/there-is-no-salvation-in-woke-theology\/memberzone-banner-free-ebook\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-565828\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Paul Krugman, the Keynesian darling of the establishment, has regularly written about America\u2019s most pressing problem, recently tweeting, \u201c\u2018Inflation especially hurts the poor\u2019 has truthiness \u2014 it sounds like it should be true.
