Bob Rommel (R-Naples).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt would allow school districts to install video cameras in classrooms for the purposes of recording an \u2018incident\u2019 \u2014 which it defines as abuse or neglect of a student by an employee or another student,\u201d the article continued:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Parents of a child involved in an incident must be allowed to review the video within a week, with a stipulation that the identity of other students who aren\u2019t involved must be blurred. Teachers in schools that adopt cameras would be required to wear microphones. Cameras must be placed at the front of the classroom, capable of monitoring video and audio from all areas except a restroom or other changing areas.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, parents, students, and employees would have to be told prior to the cameras being installed in the room.<\/p>\n<p>Principals would be given charge of recordings, and they must be retained for three months or \u201cuntil the conclusion of any investigation or any administrative or legal proceedings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Once those are finished, the video footage would be destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe cameras cannot be livestreamed or continually monitored, and videos cannot be used for teacher evaluations,\u201d the WFLA report said, adding, \u201cThe law would require all school districts to complete and vote on whether to implement classroom cameras by Jan. 1, 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-content rich-text\">\n<div class=\"article-content-cta-group\">In July, Mark Levin, author of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/American-Marxism-Mark-R-Levin\/dp\/150113597X?tag=breitbart035-20\">American Marxism<\/a><\/em>, advised using cameras in classrooms to monitor instructors as a response to Critical Race Theory in public school curricula, Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/education\/2021\/07\/23\/exclusive-mark-levin-fight-back-against-crt-classroom-cameras\/\">reported<\/a>:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cSix months ago \u2026 people were calling my show and talking to me about what they were seeing on the monitor going on with their kids as a result of the pandemic,\u201d Levin shared. \u201cThe vast majority people in this country would never have heard of critical race theory&nbsp;but for the pandemic [and] home teaching, where the parents are looking in the monitor and going, \u2018What the hell did that teacher just say to my kid?\u2019 which is why I now support cameras in the classroom and have been pushing for that for two months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cI figure if courtrooms and cops can have [cameras], union members with the NEA [National Education Association] and the AFT [American Federation of Teachers] should have them in the classroom.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In December, Florida Gov.
