Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em>, which could reverse the Court\u2019s holding in&nbsp;<em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> (1973), with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/health\/2021\/12\/22\/supreme-court-to-hear-challenge-to-two-biden-vaccine-mandates-january-7\/\">oral arguments<\/a> Jan. 7 on Biden\u2019s vaccine mandates, and with Democrats upset that Biden\u2019s court-packing commission did not recommend radical changes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/12\/07\/bidens-court-packing-commission-warns-of-uncertain-benefits-of-changing-supreme-court\/\">outright<\/a>, Roberts has issued a warning against political intervention.<\/p>\n<p>In his report, Roberts also tackled the issue of judicial recusal, following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/28\/more-130-federal-judges-broke-law-hearing-cases-involving-own-financial-interests\/\">reporting<\/a> in 2021 by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/131-federal-judges-broke-the-law-by-hearing-cases-where-they-had-a-financial-interest-11632834421\"><em>Wall Street Journal<\/em><\/a> that more than 130 federal judges had unlawfully failed to recuse themselves from cases in which they had financial interests. He also discussed judicial misconduct in the workplace, and the question of assigning patent cases in the federal court system.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, Roberts notably declined to preside over the Democrats\u2019 second attempt to impeach President Donald Trump, who had already left office by the time the Senate took up the trial. He also pushed back against then-President Trump\u2019s use of the term \u201cObama judge\u201d in 2018, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2018\/11\/21\/chief-justice-john-roberts-pushes-back-against-trumps-obama-judge-asylum-remark\/\">claiming<\/a> that there are no&nbsp;\u201cObama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Joel B.
