We have a First Amendment,\u201d O\u2019Keefe said. \u201cThis was a gross overstep by the government, and we will be vindicated, and we will get our justice, and we will not live in fear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not let fear dictate our actions,\u201d he affirmed.<\/p>\n<p>After the raid, a federal judge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/the-media\/2021\/12\/08\/okeefe-legal-win-federal-court-orders-special-master-to-review-seized-phone\/\">ordered<\/a> that a \u201cspecial master\u201d be appointed to review data from O\u2019Keefe\u2019s cellular phones the FBI seized in the raid.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAnd this judge was an Obama-appointed federal judge, so sometimes there are still certain boundaries that we can\u2019t cross, and there are certain things we should all agree on,\u201d O\u2019Keefe said. \u201cRaiding journalists\u2019 homes because you don\u2019t like what they\u2019re doing is, I think, a bridge too far for many people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last week, a New York&nbsp;judge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/the-media\/2021\/12\/27\/judge-orders-new-york-times-to-return-james-okeefes-legal-memos\/\">ordered<\/a> the <em>New York Times<\/em>&nbsp;to return and destroy all copies it possessed of legal memoranda prepared for Project Veritas, saying it had violated O\u2019Keefe\u2019s rights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFear is so pervasive,\u201d O\u2019Keefe told Breitbart News. \u201cThey want you to be afraid, and I think you really have to stop being afraid, and really not let the fear control your decision-making.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s my biggest advice to people,\u201d the Project Veritas founder added. \u201cThey\u2019re worried about their mortgages, their families, their children.
