Pope Francis has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/national-security\/2017\/12\/28\/pope-francis-prays-for-end-to-abortion-on-feast-of-holy-innocents\/\">compared<\/a> Herod\u2019s massacre of the Innocents to the modern practice of killing babies through abortion.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The 49th annual March for Life in the United States will take place in Washington, D.C., on January 21, 2022, with the theme \u201cEquality Begins in the Womb.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe pro-life movement recognizes the immense responsibility this nation bears to restore equal rights to its most defenseless citizens in the womb,\u201d March for Life president Jeanne Mancini <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/249416\/march-for-life-announces-2022-theme-of-equality\">said<\/a> at a press conference in October.<\/p>\n<p>The stated purpose of the march is to end abortion by \u201cuniting, educating, and mobilizing pro-life people in the public square.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The annual march commemorates the infamous January 22, 1973, Supreme Court decision in <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> which, together with the 1992 <em>Planned Parenthood v.
