Claudia Tenney (R-NY) criticized outgoing New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio for the vaccine mandate\u2019s impact on the economy, mainly by playing a role in the labor shortage.<\/p>\n<p>Tenney called de Blasio \u201cthe worst mayor\u201d of the modern era and reiterated her opposition to the vaccine mandates.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p><span id=\"-5\">\u201cI oppose it.&nbsp;<\/span><span>I am one of the cosigners of the&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"0\">amicus brief opposing the&nbsp;<\/span><span>mandate, having a tremendous&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"1\">impact on our country and our&nbsp;<\/span><span>labor shortage, particularly New&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"4\">York, where we have a vaccine&nbsp;<\/span><span>mandate, and I will be&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"12\">celebrating tonight that it is&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"13\">the last day Mayor de Blasio is&nbsp;<\/span><span>in office. But let\u2019s hope the&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"15\">new mayor doesn\u2019t do the same&nbsp;<\/span><span>thing the past worst mayor of probably&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"16\">the modern era has done. But&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"18\">look at this, I got the&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"21\">vaccine.&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"27\">I made the choice.
