The suspects then went inside the Studio City home and proceeded to zip-tie the first victim and three others who also happened to be inside.&nbsp;Those assaulted include the first victim\u2019s bedridden child and their two caretakers.&nbsp;The first victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK, officials said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Authorities said the group was made up of between four and five males.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The suspects reportedly ransacked the house, then left through the back door. The group fled in a pair of Hyundai vehicles, officers were told.<\/p>\n<p>Aerial video footage <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TpndvVW369U\">showed<\/a> authorities at the scene and the house in question. CBS Los Angeles reported the suspects were wearing masks:<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>The alleged incident caused Studio City residents to be on edge.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve lived here for 35 years and never had any kind of police activity like this,\u201d neighbor Michael Thatcher told Fox 11.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/abc7.com\/studio-city-home-invasion-residents-assaulted-lapd-suspect-search\/11409364\/\">told<\/a> ABC 7 there was currently no evidence to suggest the reported incident was a follow-home robbery.<\/p>\n<p>In November, the LAPD posted a release advising residents to \u201ccooperate and comply\u201d when they were being robbed, Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/10\/lapd-advises-cooperate-comply-robbers\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The department used the release to highlight seven points offering its advice for what residents should do in response to a robbery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPoint five on the release says, \u2018If you are being robbed, do not resist the robbery suspects; cooperate and comply with their demands.
