We need to focus on our most frail and elderly populations, those who are who have underlying medical conditions, because those people are ones who may not yet be \u2013 who may be vaccinated and not yet boosted.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Walensky expressed belief that it is \u201creally critical in the context of omicron to get them boosted,\u201d even though evidence seems to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/news\/new-studies-say-omicron-covid-19-variant-appears-milder-than-delta-strain\/\">point<\/a> to the fact that omicron is a milder illness than the delta strain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd then I think we need to spend some time talking to parents and to listen. You know, not every parent wants to have all the data at them,\u201d she continued. \u201cThey want to sort of give you their concerns and then have you speak to their concerns, and that\u2019s the hard work we\u2019re doing every single day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The interview comes as public health officials push mass testing across the board.
