Warner was later released <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.vn\/npItV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">without bail<\/a>. Warner was arrested two other times shortly afterward and was also released without bail, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/portland-antifa-rioter-charged-assaulting-police-case-dismissed-30-hours-community-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>. The charges could have included up to a five-year maximum sentence.<\/p>\n<p>On September 3, 2020, the Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-or\/pr\/beaverton-woman-charged-civil-disorder-after-targeting-police-officers-high-powered-laser\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a> regarding a charge of civil disorder filed against Warner that read in part:<\/p>\n<p><em>Oregon State Police officers notified the Portland Police Bureau\u2019s Rapid Response Team that Warner had directed a high-powered, green laser into the eyes of numerous law enforcement officers attempting to disperse the riot. Warner resisted arrest, prompting officers to use force. Officers found a black, pen-style laser pointer on Warner\u2019s person. Warner was taken into custody and later released.<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Male to female trans <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Antifa?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Antifa<\/a> rioter Joshua \u201cEva\u201d Warner, who was federally charged over assaulting officers in August 2020, had her case dismissed after completing just 30 hours of community service. R. Crim. P. Rule 48(a)<\/a> to dismiss with prejudice the indictment against Defendant, the best interest of justice,\u201d read the December 21 <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/trans-antifa-rioter-charged-with-felony-has-federal-case-dismissed-after-30-hours-of-community-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">motion<\/a> filed in U.S. District Court by Acting US Attorney Scott Erik Asphaug.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDefendant has successfully complied with the terms of the Defendant Resolution Agreement, including performing at least 30 hours of community service,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p>Florida Republican Sen. Rick Scott called the decision \u201can insult to police\u201d in a Twitter post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis injustice is an insult to police across America. You attack a cop, you should go to jail. And political. If you assault a police officer, you should go to jail for a long time.
