The nominees were announced by actresses Sarah Jessica Parker and Taraji P. Henson, delivered virtually \u201cfor the first time in the history of the Golden Globes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Golden Globes awards ceremony is<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldenglobes.com\/articles\/2021-nominations-78th-golden-globe-awards-have-been-announced\"><span>scheduled<\/span><\/a> <span>to take place on February 28 from 8pm to 11pm Eastern Time on NBC, and will be hosted by comedy duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Fey and Poehler have hosted the ceremony previously in 2013, 2014, and 2015. With COVID-19 restrictions in mind, \u201cFey will be live from New York\u2019s Rainbow Room, Poehler will be live from the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills,\u201d with nominees appearing from \u201cvarious locations across the world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Netflix dominated the nomination list, with 22 nominations by motion picture distributor and 20 nominations by television distributor. In addition, Netflix\u2019s motion picture <em>Mank<\/em> received six nominations, with Netflix\u2019s <em>The Crown<\/em> television series also receiving six.
