(AP Photo\/Sarah Rankin)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 12:20 PM PT \u2013 Wednesday, December 29, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Virginia historians discovered a number of valuable items inside a time capsule found in the base of a General Robert E. Lee statue in Richmond.<\/p>\n<p>Scientists said on Tuesday, the time capsule dating back to 1887 contained a confederate flag, books, rifle ammo, and money among other things.<\/p>\n<p>The statue was torn down earlier this year.
