In areas with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/covid.cdc.gov\/covid-data-tracker\/#county-view\">high numbers of COVID-19 cases<\/a>, consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/php\/contact-tracing\/contact-tracing-plan\/appendix.html#contact\">close contact<\/a> with others who are not fully vaccinated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In remarks at the White House last July 29, Biden stated, \u201cIn a significant part of the country, you wouldn\u2019t have to take one of these off, you don\u2019t have to put one on \u2014 like in my home state of Delaware, where I lived in New Castle County, where I was yesterday in Pennsylvania \u2014 because people got vaccinated.&nbsp; They got vaccinated.&nbsp; They don\u2019t need a mask when the majority \u2014 the vast majority of people got vaccinated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cAs I\u2019ve said from the beginning, a mask is not a political statement; it\u2019s about protecting yourself and protecting others.&nbsp; Masking is one defense against the spread of COVID-19. \u2026 If you\u2019re fully vaccinated, you\u2019re highly protected from COVID-19.&nbsp; But I also know that many of you who are vaccinated are concerned about what\u2019s called \u2018breakthrough cases.\u2019&nbsp; Yes, some fully vaccinated people will still test positive, and some will show some symptoms of COVID-19.&nbsp; That\u2019s expected with almost every vaccine there is for other diseases.&nbsp;But breakthrough cases remain rare and almost all are mild cases.&nbsp; In fact, virtually all hospitalizations and deaths are among the unvaccinated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A reporter asked, \u201cHow long do you think people might have to wear a mask again?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, if you notice, a lot of places, people don\u2019t have to wear masks.&nbsp; Let\u2019s get that straight,\u201d Biden declared. \u201cThe places where people have gotten vaccinated, where we have a high vaccination rate, people do not have to wear a mask at all.&nbsp;Like some of you were with me yesterday when I was up in Lehigh Valley.&nbsp; Didn\u2019t have to wear a mask there.&nbsp; Don\u2019t have to mask if you come home to Delaware with me \u2014 I know you love doing that.&nbsp; But you don\u2019t have to wear a mask.&nbsp; The places people are probably going to have to wear masks: in those communities where the high rate of unvaccinated stays high and they don\u2019t move \u2014 they don\u2019t move to getting vaccinated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
