The post referred to an alleged December 20 email from Bongino that read:<\/p>\n<p><em>Are you a dips*** all the time, or just on weekdays? Do you even listen to my show where I explained what\u2019s going on? Or is your oddly shaped head so far up your ass that you can\u2019t hear? Given that you\u2019re a chump, and a coward, who has never stood for a single thing in your entire sorry life, I\u2019m not surprised you left out all of the relevant details of the story. Lose my email, and don\u2019t bother contacting me again. Thanks, and have a Merry Christmas. Bongino has publicly stated that he is vaccinated, but strongly opposed the company\u2019s vaccine mandate.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Two months later, the conservative host says he\u2019s still in an \u201congoing fight\u201d about the mandate with his employer, Cumulus Media.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/OU94umwCY3\">https:\/\/t.co\/OU94umwCY3<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Washington Post (@washingtonpost) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/washingtonpost\/status\/1473056637560709123?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 20, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The conflict led to \u201cThe Dan Bongino Show\u201d going off the air for more than a week. Bongino later returned to the daily radio program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot has happened since then, but not much has changed for Bongino and his bosses. He is still hosting the same show, even though Cumulus Media does not appear to have changed its mandate. That\u2019s led some radio hosts and industry observers to question Bongino\u2019s commitment to his ultimatum,\u201d Barr wrote in the article.<\/p>\n<p>The article appeared to question Bongino\u2019s threat to end his program with Cumulus over the mandate. Further, the report noted employees let go by the company for refusing the vaccine mandate have not been reinstated.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.insideradio.com\/free\/more-cumulus-employees-let-go-after-refusing-to-abide-with-vaccine-mandate\/article_010d9afc-2dcb-11ec-a211-e7c70819bbf2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Inside Radio<\/a> reported on several Cumulus Media hosts leaving positions due to the company\u2019s vaccine mandate announced in August. Two hosts from Colorado Springs stations KVOR and KKFM were among those who have left the company.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExceptions to the return to office plan will not be considered except as legally required,\u201d Cumulus Media CEO Mary Berner <a href=\"http:\/\/www.insideradio.com\/free\/cumulus-media-institutes-mandatory-vaccinations-for-all-employees\/article_642ffade-fb68-11eb-96b3-7f77eb6e81d0.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stated<\/a> in August. \u201cThe decision to return to our offices was made with utmost consideration and reflects how we believe we can optimize our business efforts. Put simply, we believe that Force Cumulus is at our best when we\u2019re working together in offices. To do that as safely as we reasonably can, we\u2019re requiring that everyone be vaccinated except those legally excepted.
