And I strongly believe that standing up is the right thing to do here as long as that message that I\u2019m portraying is glorifying His name. And yeah, I\u2019ll see where it goes,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Schmeck\u2019s phone call with Biden on December 24 made viral headlines after his, \u201cLet\u2019s Go Brandon,\u201d shout-out prompted the president to say, \u201cLet\u2019s go Brandon. I agree.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Joe and Jill Biden took calls from the NORAD Tracks Santa program and a dad ended the call by saying, \u201cMerry Christmas, and let\u2019s go Brandon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s go Brandon, I agree,\u201d Biden replied. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/K4q0jIB6ww\">pic.twitter.com\/K4q0jIB6ww<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kyle Morris (@RealKyleMorris) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RealKyleMorris\/status\/1474447834208428036?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 24, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many Americans found the play on the original \u201cF*** Joe Biden\u201d phrase a humorous headline. Liberal activists and Democrats criticized Schmeck\u2019s joke.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t waste your time on the pathetic dad who humiliated his family to say F-U to the president on Christmas Eve. He\u2019s irrelevant. Spend your time asking why Republican leaders are celebrating him. This isn\u2019t my parents\u2019 Republican Party. Eric Swalwell (@RepSwalwell) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepSwalwell\/status\/1474954443326119941?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 26, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/threatening-phone-calls-father-who-said-lets-go-brandon-on-christmas-call-with-biden-says-he-only-meant-to-voice-frustration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> multiple threats against Schmeck after the call:<\/p>\n<p><em>Schmeck told&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oregonlive.com\/nation\/2021\/12\/oregon-father-of-four-who-told-president-biden-lets-go-brandon-on-christmas-eve-call-said-he-meant-it-in-jest.html\">The Oregonian\/Oregon Live<\/a>&nbsp;that he has received threats since making the comment, but says that he meant no ill will against the president and doesn\u2019t even dislike him \u2014 he only meant to voice his frustrations in what he perceived as a \u201cjoking manner.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAt the end of the day, I have nothing against Mr. Biden, but I am frustrated because I think he can be doing a better job. I mean no disrespect to him,\u201d Schmeck said. He told the outlet that he did not think of himself as a \u201cTrumper,\u201d instead describing himself as a \u201cfree-thinking American and follower of Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He also said that the opportunity to speak to President Biden directly was unexpected \u2014 he and his family have called the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/the-santa-colonel-how-one-air-force-officer-turned-a-sears-ad-typo-into-a-holiday-tradition\/\">NORAD Santa Tracker<\/a>&nbsp;hotline every&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/whats-merry-about-all-this-read-the-letter-general-anthony-mcauliffe-sent-his-exhausted-surrounded-men-at-the-battle-of-the-bulge\/\">Christmas Eve<\/a>&nbsp;for years, and he had expected the call to be automated and had not expected it to be livestreamed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe just waited on hold and then they answered.
