Reportedly, three other states are considering following suit.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Emanuel said on \u201cCNN Tonight\u201d that the governors were \u201crewarding\u201d people for \u201cdoing social harm.\u201d He decried the \u201cincentive\u201d and argued it did \u201cjust the opposite of what the country needs.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWell, I don\u2019t like this incentive at all,\u201d Emanuel emphasized. \u2018I think this basically says people who are rejecting the vaccine mainly because they are against vaccinations are actually doing social harm, and now governors are rewarding them. That is a very bad incentive and just the opposite of what the country needs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople who stayed unvaccinated are impinging on other people,\u201d he added. \u201cThey are propagating the virus. They\u2019re going to hospitals that are overloaded if they happen to get very sick. This is hardly individual liberty that does not affect the well-being of other people.
