The Senate is drafting a resolution now regarding contempt charges.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors has again rebuked the Arizona Senate and the people of Arizona by refusing to provide a date for when they will turn over ballots and machines for the Senate to audit:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-116336\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Arizona-Maricopa-Co-Board-of-Supervisors.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"817\" height=\"722\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Arizona-Maricopa-Co-Board-of-Supervisors.jpg 817w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Arizona-Maricopa-Co-Board-of-Supervisors-300x265.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Arizona-Maricopa-Co-Board-of-Supervisors-768x679.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Arizona-Maricopa-Co-Board-of-Supervisors-675x597.jpg 675w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Arizona-Maricopa-Co-Board-of-Supervisors-480x424.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 817px) 100vw, 817px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azmirror.com\/2021\/02\/02\/maricopa-county-rejects-senate-election-subpoena-demands-spawning-contempt-charges\/\">Arizona Mirror<\/a> reports:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p data-wahfont=\"15\"><span data-wahfont=\"15\">The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors did not comply with the Arizona Senate\u2019s request to set a date for turning over materials that Republican lawmakers subpoenaed for a proposed audit of the 2020 general election.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-wahfont=\"15\"><span data-wahfont=\"15\">And that could land them in jail for contempt, if one of the Senate Republicans who issued the subpoenas has his way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-wahfont=\"15\"><span data-wahfont=\"15\">The Senate had given the county supervisors a deadline of noon Tuesday to say when they would comply with the disputed subpoenas, which Maricopa County has challenged in court and says are outside the purview of the Senate\u2019s legal authority.
