Even some on the left have trouble with the holiday, noting Karenga\u2019s past <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jacobinmag.com\/2018\/12\/kwanzaa-ron-karenga-black-panther-party\">activities<\/a> to oppose the Black Panther movement through a rival organization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2018\/12\/26\/ann-coulter-happy-kwanzaa-the-holiday-brought-to-you-by-the-fbi\/\">allegedly<\/a> backed by the FBI.<\/p>\n<p>President Donald Trump has also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2018\/12\/26\/donald-trump-issues-statement-kwanzaa-2\/\">issued<\/a> Kwanzaa greetings over the years, and has displayed a seven-branched Kwanzaa candelabrum, known as a Kinara, at the White House.<\/p>\n<p><em>Joel B.
