It should not fall on us activists and teenagers who just want to go to school to raise this awareness and to inform people that we are actually facing an emergency.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople ask us, \u2018What do you want?\u2019 \u2018What do you want politicians to do?\u2019 And we say, first of all, we have to actually understand what is the emergency,\u201d she claimed. \u201cWe are trying to find a solution of a crisis that we don\u2019t understand. For example, in Sweden, we ignore \u2014 we don\u2019t even count or include more than two-thirds of our actual emissions. How can we solve a crisis if we ignore more than two-thirds of it? So it\u2019s all about the narrative. It\u2019s all about, what are we actually trying to solve? Is it this emergency, or is it this emergency?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thunberg is notorious for making over-the-top histrionic remarks combined with petulant demands of world leaders to solve what she deems to be a climate crisis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne year ago I came to Davos and told you that our house is on fire. I said I wanted you to panic,\u201d Thunberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/greta-attacks-u-s-admonishes-world-leaders-i-said-i-wanted-you-to-panic\">said<\/a> during a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, back in 2020.&nbsp;\u201cAnd, for the record, when we children tell you to panic we\u2019re not telling you to go on like before.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Notable lines from Thunberg include:<\/p>\n<p>A 2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/greta-snaps-over-demands-we-want-this-done-now-as-in-right-now\">op-ed<\/a> in The Guardian: \u201cWe demand that at this year\u2019s forum, participants from all companies, banks, institutions and governments immediately halt all investments in fossil fuel exploration and extraction, immediately end all fossil fuel subsidies and immediately and completely divest from fossil fuels. We don\u2019t want these things done by 2050, 2030 or even 2021, we want this done now \u2013 as in right now.\u201dThunberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-7789463\/Greta-Thunberg-arrives-Turin-Italy-star-turn-huge-climate-change-demonstration.html\">said<\/a> of politicians in 2019: \u201cWe will make sure that we put them against the wall and they will have to do their job to protect our futures.\u201dIn a 2019 op-ed, Thunberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/greta-snaps-change-everything-climate-crisis-about-colonial-racist-and-patriarchal-systems-of-oppression-fossil-fuel-literally\">claimed<\/a>: \u201cFossil fuels are literally choking the life from us. That action must be powerful and wide-ranging. After all, the climate crisis is not just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all. Our political leaders can no longer shirk their responsibilities.\u201dIn a 2019 rant at the United Nations, Thunberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/greta-snaps-we-are-beginning-mass-extinction-how-ryan-saavedra\">said<\/a>: \u201cYet, you all come to us young people for hope, how dare you. You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words and yet I\u2019m one of the lucky ones. People are suffering, people are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairytales of eternal economic growth. \u2026 You are failing us but the young people are starting to understand your betrayal. The eyes of all future generations are upon you and if you choose to fail us I say we will never forgive you. We will not let you get away with this.
