By the second phase of the survey, between September 3-October 12, 2020, 11% of households reported homeschooling their kids. That\u2019s an increase of 5.6% and a doubling of households who were homeschooling compared to the prior year amid the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The survey also found that parents of all races and ethnicities chose to homeschool their school-age kids. The biggest jump was in those who identified as Black or African American.
