Asa Hutchinson. \u201cThis gets solved at the state level. My message to the governor is simple: If you need something, say something and we\u2019re going to have your back in any way we can.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Hutchinson made it clear that he doesn\u2019t want federal solutions, such as testing, to get in the way of governors\u2019 ability to do their jobs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs you look towards federal solutions that will help alleviate the challenge, make sure that we do not let federal solutions stand in the way of state solutions and the production of 500 million rapid tests that will be distributed by the federal government is great,\u201d Hutchinson said. \u201cBut obviously, that dries up the supply chain for the solutions that we might offer as governor.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/12\/27\/omicron-variant-symptoms-common-cold-flu-covid-19-coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Omicron Can Be So Mild, Americans Are Struggling To Distinguish It From A Common Cold)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/video\/watch\/idOVD17U95R\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said<\/a> he would \u201cshut down the virus, not the country\u201d during a presidential debate against former President Donald Trump in October 2020.<\/p>\n<p>His administration has been criticized for implementing a federal vaccine mandate, which has been challenged in court and was <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/12\/17\/federal-appeals-court-joe-biden-vaccine-rule-private-businesses-resume\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reinstated<\/a> by the 6th Circuit Federal Court on Dec. 17.
