The Nashville resident accused Sephora and other exclusive influencers of being hostile towards conservatives, which prompted her to launch the cosmetic line. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI have received more support from \u2018we the people\u2019 in the last couple of days than I have in my own industry in the last almost decade,\u201d Ensing said in her viral video titled \u201cConservatives aren\u2019t going anywhere.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWhat Sephora, brands, influences, that are not including conservatives \u2026 into their story, telling us that we are \u2018unworthy,\u2019 or \u2018bad people\u2019 because of [our views]. That is not the future,\u201d Ensing said while unveiling her project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thus far, the only product available on the Make Makeup Great Again <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/makemakeupgreatagain.com\/collections\/all\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is a \u201ccozy crewneck\u201d priced at $59.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ensing has amassed a YouTube following of more than 1.4 million subscribers over her nine-year career as a beauty vlogger. She entered the political sphere on social media shortly after the November 3 election. In a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=CqvFI5TlCiM\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">video<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> entitled, \u201cWhat\u2019s Next for America,\u201d Ensing opened up about her conservative views and welcomed her followers \u201cto the side of social media where you won&#8217;t\u2019 be judged for thinking for yourself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The influencer came under fire for a tweet on January 6, the day of the Capitol riot, in which she called out the Left for looting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThe left: I hate it here. America is embarrassing. Only we can riot [and] loot. Defund the police. Just do what the government tells you [and] don\u2019t ask questions,\u201d Ensing <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AmandaEnsing\/status\/1346941330661003266\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">tweeted<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. \u201cThe right: Let\u2019s fight for freedom. We love the USA. Defend the Constitution. In an official statement, the beauty giant denied claims it yanked Ensing\u2019s deal for political reasons, though it had previously commented on an Instagram post confirming Ensing was not aligned with \u201cSephora\u2019s values of inclusivity.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAny claim that this decision was made on the basis of political or religious beliefs is inaccurate,\u201d Sephora said in an official statement. \u201cWe respect each individual\u2019s right to have their own perspectives and freedom of expression. However, Sephora reserves the right to terminate any partnership we deem inappropriate for our brand.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On Instagram, Sephora replied to a comment that dubbed Ensing a \u201csupporter of the dangerous MAGA group,\u201d confirming it would no longer work with the influencer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. When Sephora yanked its contract, Ensing was informed via the third-party broker.
