They really don\u2019t have any toys. And so I thought it could be like a Christmas present,\u201d Raegan told the outlet.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>According to Brittany, \u201cIt hits home a little bit for us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A sickness took the life of the little girl\u2019s older brother, named Payton, a few years ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe used to be at the house going through a lot of brain cancer. And it was probably really, really hard for him. And I felt when I got older, maybe I can like donate presents and stuff to other people to make them happy. And make them proud,\u201d Raegen explained.<\/p>\n<p>In a social media post December 24, Golisano Children\u2019s Hospital of Southwest Florida <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GolisanoChildrensHospitalofSouthwestFlorida\/posts\/5063753823643242\">shared<\/a> photos of Raegan delivering the presents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks to the help of friends and family, Raegan delivered $1,000 worth of toys that filled her mom\u2019s Yukon!\u201d the post read:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GolisanoChildrensHospitalofSouthwestFlorida\/posts\/5063753823643242\" data-width=\"640\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/graph.facebook.com\/116988501653157\/posts\/5063753823643242\/\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\">\n<p>A 9-year-old girl helped Santa and his elves this year by donating lots of toys for the kids who are being treated at\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Posted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/116988501653157\">Golisano Children&#8217;s Hospital of Southwest Florida<\/a> on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/graph.facebook.com\/116988501653157\/posts\/5063753823643242\/\">Friday, December 24, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>The hospital thanked her for the gesture and for \u201cwanting to spread cheer to our patients for your special day! You truly made an impact on our patients\u2019 lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now, the generous child said her brother\u2019s legacy is what caused her to be selfless, stating, \u201cI thought some people should get gifts because some people don\u2019t really get that much people to visit them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The family said they want to do it again next year to keep the tradition going and hope it will be even better.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, social media users praised the girl, one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GolisanoChildrensHospitalofSouthwestFlorida\/posts\/5063753823643242?comment_id=5063860700299221\">writing<\/a>, \u201cShe\u2019s a special elf!!!!
