I\u2019m wondering if you have any reaction to that. And secondly, should Members of Congress and their spouses be banned from trading individual stocks while serving in Congress?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>NANCY PELOSI, HOUSE SPEAKER: No, I don\u2019t \u2013 no, to the second one. Any \u2013 we have a responsibility to report in the stock \u2013 on the stock. But I don\u2019t \u2013 I\u2019m not familiar with that five month review, but if the people aren\u2019t reporting, they should be.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>REPORTER: Why shouldn\u2019t they be banned?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>PELOSI: Because this is a free market and people \u2013 we are a free market economy. They should be able to participate in that.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Rogan blasted politicians for using the system to get rich after they leave office. \u201cThey make their money when they get out,\u201d Rogan said. \u201cWhat it is is [it\u2019s] like an investment, if you get out you will have money for speaking engagements with all the companies that you helped, all the companies that you like, \u2018Hey, I like you. I like you. Let\u2019s hang out, let\u2019s party.\u2019 They\u2019re like, \u2018Hey, Mike. Mike the former president, we\u2019d love to have you come speak at our conference, and we\u2019re willing to pay you a half a million dollars.\u2019 So this [it\u2019s] like weird bribes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rogan had one of his producers play the clip of Pelosi commenting on members of Congress trading stock, to which Rogan responded, \u201cHave you ever seen a person look more nervous?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s giving this like very simplistic, almost vague answer,\u201d he continued. \u201cBecause should you be allowed to participate in the stock market when you\u2019re influencing the direction of the stock or when you know which direction something\u2019s going to go in? Or when you\u2019re going to pass a law that\u2019s going to benefit these businesses, that\u2019s going to force the stock to go up, and you know that, so you invest a sh*t ton of money before it happens? That seems like a problem. That seems like it\u2019s a problem. Now why is that not a problem?
