(Tom Williams\/CQ Roll Call, AP Photo)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>\nUPDATED 10:41 AM PT \u2013 Tuesday, February 2, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Congressman Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) has claimed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is misleading Americans when it comes to guidance on who should receive coronavirus vaccinations.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblaze.com\/op-ed\/horowitz-congressman-accuses-cdc-of-misleading-the-public-about-need-for-vaccine-for-those-already-recovered-from-covid-19\">reports<\/a> Tuesday, the representative said the CDC should not be encouraging those who have recovered from the coronavirus to receive the vaccine because they already have natural immunity.<\/p>\n<p>Massie noted, Pfizer&#8217;s phase three trial shows the vaccine did not increase immunity for individuals who have already recovered from the disease despite false claims from the CDC stating otherwise.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Pfizer vaccine trial did NOT demonstrate a benefit for those with evidence of prior SARS-CoV2 infection. The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CDCgov?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@CDCgov<\/a> acknowledged that to me privately but says the opposite publicly.
