(Scott Rogers\/The Times via AP)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>\nUPDATED 7:36 AM PT \u2013 Tuesday, February 2, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>New details have emerged about a liquid nitrogen leak at a poultry processing plant in Georgia, which left multiple people dead.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release over the weekend, the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board announced they have started their initial probe into the deadly incident.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, law enforcement responded to a call at the <a href=\"https:\/\/foundationfoodgroup.com\/\">Foundation Food Group<\/a> plant after a liquid nitrogen leak at the plant killed six people and left dozens injured.<\/p>\n<p>Officials revealed the poultry plant had recently installed a new processing and freezing line, which may have sprung the gas leak.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are still looking whether to determine when it was turned on, whether the equipment was brand new, whether the permit was refurbished, &#8221; explained Dr. Katherine Lemos, safety board chairman. &#8220;All those questions, that&#8217;s still to be answered.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"und\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HktI7rbdCv\">https:\/\/t.co\/HktI7rbdCv<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PZI3Idld1r\">pic.twitter.com\/PZI3Idld1r<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Governor Brian P.
