But according to McLindon, the joy of informing families they will receive the gift can be overwhelming.<\/p>\n<p>He spoke of a call he had with a mother when he told her the organization was going to provide her child with a set of wheels.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201c\u2018I\u2019m going to buy this bike for you and we will have it to you in three weeks,\u2019 and the phone when silent for two minutes\u2026 and she came back and she was weeping,\u201d he recalled, adding he hung up and began screaming, \u201c\u2018Yes, yes!\u2019 I was just celebrating so much because that\u2019s what we live for.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The McLindon Family Foundation\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mclindonfamilyfoundation.org\/?fbclid=IwAR2h4MVSOtw195rcvtFHpHgsJtSvEzTDgVKiJBwbB0OkgkyIQLQiNdAsXDc\">mission<\/a> is to give adaptive bikes to children with special needs so they are able to build core strength, increase confidence, and nurture friendships, the group\u2019s website says.<\/p>\n<p>In a social media post on Tuesday, the foundation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/McLindonFamilyFoundation\/photos\/a.318138008215213\/5330416936987270\/\">shared<\/a> a photo of a child in Georgia enjoying her purple bike:<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/McLindonFamilyFoundation\/photos\/a.318138008215213\/5330416936987270\/\" data-width=\"640\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/McLindonFamilyFoundation\/photos\/a.318138008215213\/5330416936987270\/?type=3\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\">\n<p>Meet Jahnize from Georgia!
