About one-third, 32 percent, said Democrats have accomplished \u201cabout what I expected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, a plurality of respondents, 42 percent, said President Biden has accomplished \u201cless than\u201d expected in his first year, with just 11 percent indicating that he has surpassed their expectations. Thirty-eight percent said he accomplished about what they expected.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The survey follows the left\u2019s failure to pass Biden\u2019s multitrillion-dollar Build Back Better Act, which moderate Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) effectively killed this week.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation. \u2026 I can\u2019t get there,\u201d Manchin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/12\/19\/joe-manchin-to-oppose-4-91-trillion-build-back-better-act-effectively-killing-bill\/\">said<\/a> during an appearance on <i>Fox News Sunday.&nbsp;<\/i>He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/clips\/2021\/12\/19\/manchin-i-cant-vote-for-build-back-better-amid-real-inflation\/\">continued<\/a>, adding that he \u201ccan\u2019t vote\u201d for something that he cannot explain to the people of his state:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I\u2019ve done everything possible. And you know my concerns I had,&nbsp;and I still have these concerns&nbsp;and where I\u2019m at right now, the&nbsp;inflation but I was concerned&nbsp;about, it\u2019s not transitory, it\u2019s&nbsp;real, it\u2019s harming every West Virginian, making it&nbsp;difficult for them to continue&nbsp;to go to their jobs.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation. I just can\u2019t.
