I think these were all important and positive steps.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden issued a record number of executive orders in his first days in office as he strove to reverse actions taken by former President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>The video\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.projectveritas.com\/news\/facebook-insider-leaks-hours-of-video-of-zuckerberg-and-execs-admitting-they\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was leaked<\/a>\u00a0to Project Veritas, a nonprofit watchdog, by someone the group described as a Facebook insider.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3645615\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2021\/01\/06\/collage-trump-biden-1.6-1200x696.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy size-large wp-image-3645615 ll-init ll-loadstarted ll-loaded\" src=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2021\/01\/06\/collage-trump-biden-1.6-1200x696.jpg\" alt=\"Epoch Times Photo\" width=\"640\" height=\"371\" data-src=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2021\/01\/06\/collage-trump-biden-1.6-1200x696.jpg\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Former President Donald Trump (L) and President Joe Biden in file photographs. (Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div id=\"inside_ad_336x280_1\" data-google-query-id=\"CICftcWkye4CFRHHKAUdwz0FeA\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/5965368\/EET_article_inside_336x280_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The group also leaked a clip of Zuckerberg disparaging Trump at a Jan. 7 meeting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s so important that our political leaders lead by example, make sure we put the nation first here, and what we\u2019ve seen is that the president has been doing the opposite of that,\u201d Zuckerberg said at the time. \u201cThe president intends to use his remaining time in office to undermine the peaceful and lawful transition of power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis decision to use his platform to condone rather than condemn the actions of his supporters in the Capitol I think has rightly bothered and disturbed people in the U.S. and around the world,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/what-happened-in-dc-on-jan-6-2_3648252.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gave a speech<\/a>\u00a0on Jan. 6 as protesters turned violent at the U.S. Capitol about two miles away. Trump told supporters to go to the building but urged them to remain peaceful. After protesters stormed the Capital, he released videos asking them to leave and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/trump-calls-for-healing-and-reconciliation-following-unrest-at-us-capitol_3648467.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">condemned the violence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook didn\u2019t respond to a request for comment. The social media company took a number of punitive actions against Trump in the lead-up to the November 2020 election and ultimately\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/facebook-blocks-trump-until-at-least-jan-20_3647742.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">banned him<\/a>\u00a0from its website, claiming he was condoning rather than condemning the actions of his supporters.
