The WHO confirmed it did not create the poster.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/galacticrepresentatives\/photos\/a.540715766051329\/4376550329134501\/?type=3&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">image<\/a> shows what appears to be a poster sporting the WHO logo that depicts an elderly woman being handed a face mask and a syringe. Text on the poster reads, \u201cWe\u2019re in this forever.\u201d Multiple Facebook users appeared to believe the poster came from the WHO, with one commenting, \u201cIt\u2019s not like they\u2019re not telling you how long they want this to last.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The sign, however, was not created by the WHO.&nbsp;It could not be found on the organization\u2019s verified <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%22we%27re%20in%20this%20forever%22%20(from%3Awho)&amp;src=typed_query\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/page\/154163327962392\/search\/?q=we%27re%20in%20this%20forever\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook<\/a> pages, nor on the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/indonesia\/news\/novel-coronavirus\/posters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Posters<\/a>\u201d page of its website. A WHO spokesperson confirmed in an email to Check Your Fact that the image does not show an official WHO poster.<\/p>\n<p>Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact discovered the sign is actually the work of graphic artist Winston Tseng, who shared a picture of it on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/winstontseng\/status\/1471643599070801928?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">his Twitter account<\/a> on Dec. 16.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">public service announcement <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/bOdpdFjwin\">pic.twitter.com\/bOdpdFjwin<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 This can\u2019t be real. (@winstontseng) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/winstontseng\/status\/1471643599070801928?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 17, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cPublic service announcement,\u201d reads the tweet\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p>Tseng confirmed in an Instagram direct message to Check Your Fact that he created the poster in question. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/05\/18\/fact-check-world-health-organization-no-vegetarian-contracted-coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did The World Health Organization Say No Vegetarian Has Contracted COVID-19?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Tseng has created a variety of illustrated posters that allude to various issues in politics and the news and that include the&nbsp;logos of various companies and government entities, as can be seen on his <a href=\"https:\/\/winstontseng.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/winstontseng.com\/post\/661618890908041216\/vaccine-mandate-2021-press-coverage-the\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">One<\/a> pair of posters he created shows the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) logo beneath an illustration of a man crying as a mask and vaccine are held towards him. One poster reads, \u201cGet the f***king vaccine,\u201d while the other states, \u201cWear a f***king mask.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time Tseng\u2019s work has gone viral.
