Beyond millions of preborn children, 26 women have died from complications related to the abortion pill.<\/p>\n<p>The revelation comes as the FDA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fda-to-make-abortion-pills-available-through-the-mail\">removes<\/a> the requirement that the abortion pill \u201cbe dispensed only in certain healthcare settings, specifically clinics, medical offices, and hospitals.\u201d The new development will now allow the abortion pill to be sent via mail \u2014 and potentially purchased or acquired online.<\/p>\n<p>As the nine Supreme Court Justices heard arguments for Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization \u2014 which pertains to a Mississippi law that bans abortions after 15 weeks\u2019 gestation \u2014 at least four pro-abortion protesters allegedly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/pro-abortion-protesters-allegedly-take-abortion-pills-outside-of-supreme-court\">ingested<\/a> abortion pills on the steps of the Supreme Court. The women, sponsored by the group Shout Your Abortion, were met with raucous cheers from onlookers.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond conventional appeals from pro-life groups relating to Dobbs v. Jackson, 20 state legislators and a handful of Christian organizations filed an amicus brief <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/abortion-abolition-groups-urge-supreme-court-to-overturn-roe-v-wade\">exhorting<\/a> the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade as a violation of both biblical and natural law.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to the brief\u2019s summary:<\/p>\n<p>Amici call upon the Court to fulfill its God-given and oath-bound constitutional duty to administer justice. Amici also call upon the Court to restrain its unconstitutional abuse of power in Roe v. Wade in order to restore public respect for the Constitution, for the Court as an institution, for the Court\u2019s rulings in general, and for the value of human life itself\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, our true peace and stability depends first and foremost upon the blessing of God. Conversely, while any decline in public respect for the Constitution would be a threat to the Court, the greatest threat to all is the righteous judgment of God if we as a country and our institutions fail to acknowledge Him in all our ways as the ultimate authority.<\/p>\n<p>The ultimate source of all legitimate earthly authority is divine. It is derived from \u201cour Lord,\u201d Jesus Christ, who has been delegated it by God the Father. As Christ said, \u201cAll authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many of the lawmakers who joined the brief argue that pro-life laws seek to regulate \u2014 rather than abolish \u2014 abortion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, state Rep. Bryan Slaton (R-TX) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/texas-is-a-free-and-independent-state-texas-rep-introduces-bill-to-ban-abortion\">introduced<\/a> a bill that would \u201censure the right to life and equal protection of the laws to all unborn children from the moment of fertilization.\u201d Instead, Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/texas-gov-abbott-signs-trigger-bill-banning-abortion-if-roe-v-wade-is-overturned\">signed<\/a> a \u201ctrigger bill\u201d that would only ban abortion in Texas \u2014 if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v.
