A video game titled \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/agecheck\/app\/243000\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Omikron: The Nomad Soul<\/a>\u201d does exist; however, it was not made by Microsoft or Gates.<\/p>\n<p>French video game developer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quanticdream.com\/en\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Quantic Dream<\/a> created \u201cOmikron: The Nomad Soul,\u201d and it was published by Eidos Interactive, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/reviews\/omikron-the-nomad-soul-review\/1900-2543525\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Game Spot<\/a>. It was released on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Quantic_Dream\/status\/1322569403104374787\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Microsoft Windows<\/a> in 1999 and on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Quantic_Dream\/status\/1407372414766489616\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dreamcast<\/a> in 2000, per tweets from Quantic Dream\u2019s verified Twitter account. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/07\/24\/fact-check-bill-gates-patent-face-mask-coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Bill Gates Patent A \u2018CV19-N95\u2019 Face Mask Design Years Before The COVID-19 Pandemic?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how the platform Steam <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/243000\/Omikron_The_Nomad_Soul\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">describes<\/a> \u201cOmikron: The Nomad Soul\u201d:&nbsp;\u201cResponding to the desperate pleas of a mysterious character from another dimension, your soul must enter the dark and futuristic city of Omikron. This heralds the beginning of an epic adventure through an increasingly strange and dazzling parallel world, trying to solve the many puzzles that prevent you escaping alive. Think, fight and interact with the immense gaming environment to defeat the menacing demons that have tried to trap you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to \u201cOmikron: The Nomad Soul\u201d not being developed by Microsoft or Gates, the title of the game spells \u201comikron\u201d differently than the coronavirus variant\u2019s name, omicron. The World Health Organization (WHO) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/news\/item\/31-05-2021-who-announces-simple-easy-to-say-labels-for-sars-cov-2-variants-of-interest-and-concern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">started<\/a> assigning letters of the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.mit.edu\/jmorzins\/www\/greek-alphabet.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Greek alphabet<\/a> to variants of SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, back in May.<\/p>\n<p>The B.1.1.529 variant was assigned as omicron, the 15th letter in the Greek alphabet, after South African scientists first reported the variant in late November, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/11\/27\/world\/africa\/omicron-covid-greek-alphabet.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The New York Times<\/a>.
