I have been \u2026 vaccinated, and I have received vaccinations on behalf of 14 people. Therefore I have received 16 shots, for which I was paid IDR100K-800K [$7-$56 USD] each time,\u201d the man said in an undated video clip reviewed by Coconuts Jakarta on December 21.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The man\u2019s video confession went viral among Indonesian social media users in recent days, prompting Indonesian government authorities to launch an investigation into the individual\u2019s allegations on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Rahim said he received payments from Indonesians \u201cseeking privileges extended to the vaccinated [who] didn\u2019t want to get vaccinated themselves,\u201d according to Coconuts Jakarta.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19222306\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2021\/12\/GettyImages-1235004322.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-19222306\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/GettyImages-1235004322-1024x681-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"990\" height=\"658\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>People receives a dose of the Sinovac Covid-19 coronavirus vaccine during a vaccination drive for villagers at Garot on the outskirts of Banda Aceh on September 2, 2021. Indonesians may present a negative Chinese coronavirus test result in lieu of vaccine status to gain permission for limited inter-regional travel.<\/p>\n<p>The nation\u2019s federal government only allows \u201clong distance travel for those who have been fully vaccinated and can show a negative antigen rapid test result,\u201d according to a December 13 coronavirus <a href=\"https:\/\/indonesien.ahk.de\/infothek\/news\/news-details\/covid-19-developments-in-indonesia\">notice<\/a> issued by the German-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EKONID).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndonesia is currently implementing a more restrictive form of lockdown wherein non-essential and non-critical commercial activities are not allowed,\u201d EKONID advised on December 13.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia\u2019s Transport Ministry <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/healthcare-pharmaceuticals\/indonesia-tightens-travel-curbs-it-braces-omicron-arrival-2021-12-02\/\">announced<\/a> on December 1 new limits on the volume of traffic allowed on toll roads nationwide.
