Dan Patrick called President Joe Biden and his administration the \u201cblue Grinch\u201d over his doom and gloom message to destroy Christmas hope during recent remarks over the spread of the Omicron variant.<\/p>\n<p>Patrick shared the remarks during a Tuesday night interview Fox News\u2019 \u201cTucker Carlson Tonight\u201d with Tucker Carlson.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Texas Lt. But this president does not know what that is,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Patrick\u2019s remarks come after Biden\u2019s dismal words during a speech last week regarding the Omicron variant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to send a direct message to the American people: Due to the steps we\u2019ve taken, omicron has not yet spread as fast as it would have otherwise done,\u201d Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2021\/12\/16\/remarks-by-president-biden-after-meeting-with-members-of-the-covid-19-response-team\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut it\u2019s here now, and it\u2019s spreading, and it\u2019s going to increase,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Biden later referred to a \u201cwinter of severe illness and death for the unvaccinated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are looking at a winter of severe illness and death for the unvaccinated \u2013 for themselves, their families and the hospitals they\u2019ll soon overwhelm,\u201d he added. \u201cBut there\u2019s good news: If you\u2019re vaccinated, and you have your booster shot, you\u2019re protected from severe illness and death,\u201d the president said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Joe Biden: \u201cFor unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of SEVERE ILLNESS and DEATH, if you\u2019re unvaccinated.
