autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>Officials explained the people who tested positive \u201cquickly went into quarantine\u201d and they \u201cwere asymptomatic or had mild symptoms, and we continuously monitored their health.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Meanwhile, officials also indicated that four of the confirmed cases \u201cincludes four additional close contacts that were identified as COVID-19 positive at the end of the voyage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement added that six of the individuals who tested positive for the illness \u201cdisembarked earlier in the cruise and were transported home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox13news.com\/news\/royal-caribbean-ship-docked-at-miami-port-has-at-least-48-cases-of-covid-19-company-says\">said<\/a> the agency knew about the situation and was investigating, Fox 13 reported Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Officials noted the ship\u2019s itinerary was not affected, and \u201call crew are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and tested weekly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guests aged 12 and up were required to be fully <a href=\"https:\/\/www.royalcaribbean.com\/the-healthy-sail-center\">vaccinated<\/a> in order to sail and children too young to be vaccinated were tested prior to boarding, the Royal Caribbean International website said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll crew members onboard our ships, and at our private destinations, are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and tested at least once a week.
