Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) also has a breakthrough case of COVID-19 and has been fully vaccinated along with a booster.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI regularly test for COVID &amp; while I tested negative earlier this week, today I tested positive with a breakthrough case,\u201d Warren tweeted on Sunday. \u201cThankfully, I am only experiencing mild symptoms &amp; am grateful for the protection provided against serious illness that comes from being vaccinated &amp; boosted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added: \u201cAs cases increase across the country, I urge everyone who has not already done so to get the vaccine and the booster as soon as possible \u2013 together, we can save lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>NBC reported that while the number of cases have reached a record high in New York City, there are 97% fewer hospitalizations compared to the pandemic\u2019s peak in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/people-who-get-covid-after-full-vaccination-have-super-immunity-antibodies-rise-up-to-2000-study\">noted<\/a> that people who end up getting a breakthrough infection of COVID-19 have a \u201csuper immunity,\u201d with massively increased antibodies.
