That is the message President Joe Biden will deliver Tuesday when he addresses the nation on the latest government plan to counter the surging coronavirus omicron variant.<\/p>\n<p>White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Saturday previewed the pre-Christmas speech on Twitter, noting&nbsp;a \u201cstark warning\u201d for unvaccinated Americans is coming.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>She said the president will announce new steps his administration is taking \u201cto help communities in need of assistance.\u201d The additional action builds on the government\u2019s winter plan that includes increased testing and encouraging booster shots for adults, she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are prepared for the rising case levels,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"10.117924528302\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">On Tuesday, the President will deliver remarks on the status of the country&#8217;s fight against COVID-19, as the country sees rising cases amid the growing Omicron variant.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jen Psaki (@PressSec) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PressSec\/status\/1472290550095171592?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 18, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The U.S. has seen a rise in cases since late November, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2021\/us\/covid-cases.html\">according to<\/a>&nbsp;the <em>New York Times\u2019<\/em> coronavirus tracker.
