The victim has also been identified and since transported to a safe location. A silver Honda Fit is believed to be the suspect vehicle. Detectives believe the victim sustained injuries demanding immediate medical attention. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pOsYJbq0yC\">pic.twitter.com\/pOsYJbq0yC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CMPD News (@CMPD) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CMPD\/status\/1471167327882387462?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 15, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The individual appeared to grab the woman, throw her on the ground, and allegedly hit her several times before dragging her away from the house.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article__section article__section_type_text utility__text\" readability=\"38\">\n<p>\u201cMeadows, who also had outstanding arrest warrants on other charges, has been charged with first-degree kidnapping and assault on a female,\u201d the WCNC report said, adding he was supposed to appear in court on Friday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Officials credited information from the North Carolina Department of Transportation and help from the community for being able to identify and find Meadows and the apparent victim.<\/p>\n<p>Police asked the community for tips on Wednesday once a homeowner found the video on the Ring camera.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article__section article__section_type_text utility__text\" readability=\"41.231343283582\">\n<div class=\"article__section article__section_type_text utility__text\" readability=\"37\">\n<p>\u201c[It\u2019s] scary! Scary, because I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on,\u201d the owner of the doorbell, who asked not to be identified, told WCNC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>When she checked her Ring application, she was shocked at the video and called police.<\/p>\n<p>The WCNC report continued:<\/p>\n<div class=\"article__section article__section_type_text utility__text\" readability=\"44.242902208202\">\n<blockquote readability=\"10\">\n<p>The victim disappeared from the Sheffield Park neighborhood, located near the interchange of Independence Parkway \/ US 74 and Albemarle Road. On Thursday, it was not immediately known if Meadows or the victim had any connection to the neighborhood.
