Version: 4.0.47--><p class=\"subheading\">A criminal complaint revealed officials initially learned of CNN producer John Griffin\u2019s \u201cdepraved proclivities\u201d 18 months ago, but the FBI did not arrest him until recently for allegedly soliciting three moms and their minor daughters for instruction in fetish sex, Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/cnn-john-griffin-child-trafficking-devices-seized-september-2020\">reported<\/a> Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The third count in the federal indictment from Vermont was regarding an encounter with a 9-year-old in July of last year, for which Griffin reportedly paid the mother&nbsp;$3,500 through Venmo, the article read.<br \/>Once the woman was taken into custody in August of last year, federal authorities seized&nbsp;\u201ccomputers storage media, devices, phones, cameras, MicroSD cards, images, and video\u201d from Griffin on September 2, 2020, court documents said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cPrior to his arrest and indictment, we had no knowledge about the case,\u201d a CNN spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>CNN <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/cnn-fires-senior-producer-charged-with-inducing-minors-for-sex\">fired<\/a> Griffin on Monday after his recent arrest.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19175186\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" readability=\"32\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/John-Griffin-CNN-Twitter.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19175186\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/John-Griffin-CNN-Twitter.png\" alt=\"John Griffin\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>John Griffin (Twitter\/@JGriffNYC)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The federal indictment accused the man of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/crime\/2021\/12\/11\/cnn-staffer-accused-of-luring-mom-daughter-to-train-her-in-sexual-submission\/\">attempting<\/a> to entice minors to his Vermont home for sexual encounters in 2020.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>A mother in Nevada allegedly agreed to the offer in July of 2020, the Fox report continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"12\">\n<p>The criminal complaint filed against the Nevada woman on Aug. 25, 2020 in Henderson Justice Court details the horrific abuse and describes her as the adoptive mother.&nbsp;The woman allegedly flew the 9-year-old from Nevada to Boston, Massachusetts, where Griffin is accused of picking them up in a Tesla and driving them to his $2 million vacation house in a Vermont ski town, according to the federal indictment.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Following the trip, the child went back to her biological mom, who does not have complete custodial rights. However, when it was time for the adoptive mother to get her, she could not be located.<\/p>\n<p>Her biological mom found the adoptive mother was logged into her daughter\u2019s phone and used it to share on the woman\u2019s social media pages and request help in finding her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen she discovered appalling text messages discussing sex toys, bondage activities, the girl and Griffin,\u201d the Fox report said.<\/p>\n<p>She contacted Griffin and he said the other woman was hospitalized in Boston during the course of the trip, the complaint noted. However, the discussion omitted details regarding the BDSM-themed encounter.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The 9-year-old later told a social worker that on separate occasions, she was forced to watch her adoptive mom take part in sexual acts with different men, including Griffin.<\/p>\n<p>The criminal complaint said the Nevada suspect admitted taking the child to Vermont to meet&nbsp;\u201ca man named John Griffin or Gifford. She went there with the purpose of engaging in BDSM play with John.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>But she denied the child was in the room during the activities.<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Chris Cuomo\u2019s CNN producer charged with luring girls for \u2018sexual\u2019 training | New York Post\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EpiE-hj_fs8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Nevada woman faces several felony counts, however, several of them were not related to the Vermont incident.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe charges that do involve Griffin allege that he watched as the child was made to perform lewd acts with the adoptive mother. After three nights of this alleged activity, the child refused to participate further,\u201d the Fox report said.<\/p>\n<p>Griffin is facing three counts of sex trafficking minors and one of those is connected to the Vermont incident.
