The photos stem from a music video that uses digitally altered video clips.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A June Pew Research Center <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/fact-tank\/2021\/06\/30\/most-americans-believe-in-intelligent-life-beyond-earth-few-see-ufos-as-a-major-national-security-threat\/?utm_source=AdaptiveMailer&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=21-06-30%20UFOs%20short%20read&amp;org=982&amp;lvl=100&amp;ite=8792&amp;lea=1876577&amp;ctr=0&amp;par=1&amp;trk=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">poll<\/a> showed that 40 percent of U.S. adult respondents said they thought UFOs reported by armed forces personnel were probably evidence of intelligent extraterrestrial life. Such reports were considered definite evidence of alien intelligence by 11 percent of those the poll surveyed.<\/p>\n<p>A Dec. 8 Facebook includes a collage of images showing a helicopter seemingly carrying a metallic spherical object in a desert. The object then seems to shoot a burst of energy at a much smaller contraption on the ground nearby. The post reads: \u201cSecret Materials: PHOTO Evidence Of UFOs That Hid From The World.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/11\/24\/fact-check-not-real-photos-ufo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Video Show The Helicopter Crash That Killed India\u2019s Military Chief Bipin Rawat?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The collage does not, however, show \u201cphoto evidence\u201d of genuine UFOs. Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact found that the images were part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ky2rtCpbn7k\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">music video<\/a> posted on YouTube in 2018 for composer&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/4Jyb0l1PTSn1VxNmiFxSf4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nigel Stanford<\/a>\u2018s song \u201cOne Hundred Hunters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stanford has incorporated real robots and other technological themes into his music and visual work, as seen in many of his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/c\/NigelJohnStanford\/videos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube videos<\/a>. He confirmed in an email to Check Your Fact that the clips in the \u201cOne Hundred Hunters\u201d music video that show the spherical UFO were created using computer-generated imagery (CGI). The video also includes manipulated versions of genuine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/video\/astronaut-alan-shepard-wearing-spacesuit-and-preparing-news-footage\/144111890\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">government footage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Some government officials are interested in furthering the study of UFOs. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/117th-congress\/house-bill\/4350\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022<\/a> was <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.md\/snAOH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recently passed<\/a> by the House and mandates the creation of a Defense Department office to \u201caddress unidentified aerial phenomena,\u201d a task the department was already engaged in, according to the bill\u2019s text.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A post shared on Facebook purportedly shows images proving the existence of concealed UFOs.Facebook\/ScreenshotVerdict: False The images do not prove the existence of UFOs that have been hidden.
