She started to turn blue and go rigid. She really couldn\u2019t\u2026 she couldn\u2019t get air, couldn\u2019t get any oxygen,\u201d Kelly told ABC 7.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The parents hurried their nine-month-old to the hospital, where doctors cleared her airways. The family went home later that night.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Doctors say the baby had fluid in one of her lungs, according to ABC 7.<\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI don\u2019t think it was a full respiratory arrest, but [she was] struggling badly,\u201d Dr. John Brancato of Connecticut Children\u2019s Medical Center in Hartford told WFSB.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The couple says their daughter still had a sniffle as of Wednesday, but she is doing much better.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span> \u201cTo my knowledge, the baby is doing very well,\u201d Brancato said. \u201cI think [Henry knew something], because that was very abnormal for him to keep pushing his way into the room after he was told not to.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Kelly <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KayAyDrew\/status\/1470666853911572482\">took<\/a> to Twitter to praise her pooch.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span> \u201cI don\u2019t know what would have happened if he hadn\u2019t woken her. We don\u2019t deserve dogs,\u201d she tweeted.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Jeff told ABC 7 he is still in the process of rewarding Henry.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span> \u201cHe was allowed to sleep in bed with me last night, and he\u2019s got a steak in his future,\u201d he said.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Boston terrier is being hailed as a hero for alerting his owners that their infant daughter was struggling to breathe.
