And the \u201cSex and the City\u201d follow-up is no exception.<\/p>\n<p>In just the first two episodes, audiences are introduced to a \u201cqueer non-binary Mexican-Irish diva\u201d podcaster named Che (Sarah Ramirez) and hear Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/and-just-like-that-turns-miranda-into-kendi-quoting-anti-racist-in-sex-and-the-city-sequel-series\">quoting Ibram X. Kendi<\/a> to prove how enlightened she is. But it\u2019s the introduction of a trans storyline for a child that really takes \u201cAnd Just Like That\u201d to the next level.<\/p>\n<p>Fans accurately predicted where the story was headed when Charlotte Goldenblatt\u2019s (Kristin Davis) daughter Rose (Alexa Swinton) rebelled against wearing a feminine floral dress to her sister\u2019s piano recital in the first episode. Their suspicions that 12-year-old Rose was experiencing gender confusion were confirmed in episode 3, \u201cWhen in Rome.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The storyline officially kicks off when Charlotte is lying on Rose\u2019s bed, reading her a book.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBaby girl, I\u2019m falling off the bed here!\u201d Charlotte tells her daughter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hate it when you call me that,\u201d Rose replies.<\/p>\n<p>After Charlotte explains how the little girl will always be her baby, Rose says that she takes issue with being called a girl, not with the word baby.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t feel like a girl,\u201d Rose confesses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh. It\u2019s clear that Charlotte is very shaken by her daughter\u2019s admission, but Anthony has a surprising response.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s a kid. Ignore it,\u201d Anthony advises Charlotte.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But Charlotte protests, saying \u201ceveryone\u201d says this topic can\u2019t be ignored.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, f*** everyone!
