I&#8217;ve been told by people who are in the know\u2026that it&#8217;s highly unlikely that I would be charged with anything criminally.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zYugqKzjNu\">https:\/\/t.co\/zYugqKzjNu<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/BaldwinABC?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#BaldwinABC<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/msTJuJDDl1\">pic.twitter.com\/msTJuJDDl1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 ABC News (@ABC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ABC\/status\/1466595543799324672?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 3, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Following his interview, First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2021\/12\/04\/santa-fe-da-warns-criminally-culpable-charge-still-possible-in-rust-shooting-after-alec-baldwin-abc-interview\/\">clarified that it<\/a>&nbsp;is still very possible for Alec Baldwin to be \u201ccriminally culpable\u201d in Hutchins\u2019 death depending on what the investigation yields.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCertain individuals may be criminally culpable for his\/her actions and\/or inactions on the set of<em>&nbsp;Rust<\/em>,\u201d&nbsp;Carmack-Altwies told&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2021\/12\/alec-baldwin-criminal-charges-tv-interview-backlash-cops-district-attorney-halnya-hutchins-1234884549\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Carmack-Altwies asserted that she will&nbsp;\u201cexercise my prosecutorial discretion to its fullest, including filing charges that are supported by probable cause.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The district attorney further clarified that \u201ceveryone\u201d handling firearms on the set of&nbsp;<em>Rust<\/em>&nbsp;had a duty to follow safety protocols.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone involved in the handling and use of firearms on the set had a duty to behave in a manner such that the safety of others was protected, and it appears that certain actions and inactions contributed to this outcome,\u201d Carmack-Altwies the attorney said.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the controversy, Alec Baldwin has remained in the public eye and continues enjoying celebrity privileges. Just last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2021\/12\/10\/photos-alec-baldwin-celebrated-at-human-rights-gala-featuring-kamala-harris-stacey-abrams-weeks-after-death-of-woman-on-set\/\">he&nbsp;hosted<\/a> an annual gala for the&nbsp;Robert F.
