In the club, teachers reportedly indoctrinated the pupils into accepting progressive teachings on sexuality and transgender ideology, even going so far as to \u201ccoach\u201d students into changing their gender while advising them on how to hide their new identity from their parents.<\/p>\n<p>At least one couple who said they were parents of a student claimed they were called into Buena Vista Middle School where a teacher told them that their 12-year-old daughter was now a boy. Did you think that no parent would ever come forward? You will not quiet me today,\u201d she continued, clearly angry. \u201cI will stand here today and protect my child along with every other child who has not come forward yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo they have psychiatry degrees that I was unaware of? Because I didn\u2019t hire them. I did not hire them to sit there [and] nitpick my child\u2019s brain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou took away my ability to parent my child, even before I had any knowledge,\u201d she went on to allege. \u201cI didn\u2019t even get to show support. In fact, sometimes we don\u2019t really want to keep records because if parents get upset that their kids are coming? We\u2019re like, \u2018Yeah, I don\u2019t know. Maybe they came?\u2019 You know, we would never want a kid to get in trouble for attending if their parents are upset.\u201dAnother middle school teacher, Kelly Baraki, joined with Caldeira to lead a workshop titled: \u201cHow we run a \u2018GSA\u2019 in Conservative Communities.\u201d GSAs are \u201cGenders &#038; Sexualities Alliance\u201d clubs run by high school students. Baraki admitted naming a club \u201cthe Equity Club,\u201d later, \u201cYou be You,\u201d rather than the more obvious \u201cGSA.\u201dCaldeira was recorded saying, \u201cWe have LGBTQ kids who come to us, and they come and spend a year with us and they get all the love and the affirmation that they need. And we give them tools to be powerful and brave and bold \u2026\u201d She added that the kids \u201cgo hang with their friends at lunch. And they do their things. And we love them for that, but we miss them when they don\u2019t join us.
