In a recently resurfaced video from the 2018 National Civic Leadership Summit, Ho claimed the Senate and Electoral College are \u201canti-democratic.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">WATCH: Biden federal district judge nominee Dale Ho calls the Senate and the Electoral College &#8220;anti-democratic&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vfOi3N6Et9\">pic.twitter.com\/vfOi3N6Et9<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Townhall.com (@townhallcom) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/townhallcom\/status\/1471180309664346120?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 15, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ho claimed these institutions lead to the \u201cmal-distribution of political power.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe had obviously lots of practices that are anti-democratic that entrench, in some ways, minority rule in this country.\u201d he stated. \u201cAnd I\u2019m talking about things like, you know, the Senate, Electoral College and mal-distribution of political power that results the from those institutions.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ho has faced significant push-back from Republicans during the confirmation process due to inflammatory social media posts he made during the Trump administration. Sen.
