This amount will hardly put a dent in the cost of the company\u2019s own notoriously expensive computers and mobile electronics.<\/p>\n<p>The Verge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2021\/12\/15\/22838471\/apple-delays-office-reopening-date-covid-19\">reports<\/a>&nbsp;that Apple plans to delay bringing its workers back to its offices indefinitely while giving all of its corporate and retail employees $1,000 to purchase equipment for their home offices. The message added: \u201cKeep in mind that when you return to the office, you\u2019ll be bringing your Apple-owned equipment back, so you should consider what you\u2019ll want for your home workspace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Notably, $1,000 alone would barely cover the cost of a new iPhone let alone an office setup, especially if that setup consisted of Apple products.<\/p>\n<p>Apple closed three retail stores recently in response to growing coronavirus infections. Earlier this week, it began <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2021\/12\/14\/22834419\/apple-retail-store-mask-requirement-december-2021-omicron-covid\">enforcing a mask policy<\/a> for customers in its retail stores.
